Ok, I think I'm getting this BLOG thing figured out so here is my second posting to finish the story of the Reelfoot fishing trip.
This part of the lake was right behind our cabin and this was at sunset the first day. I just was so amazed at the trees sitting in the water and all the little "knees" that came up around the trees.

This was a bit later in the day and from a different part of the dock where all the boats are kept. It was beginning to look rather spooky with all those trees in the water making it look darker than usual.

Wondering how that boat got up on the dock? One of those boys DROVE it up there! I thought they were going to wreck it for sure but the boat is tough and they knew just when to stop so the motor wasn't hurt. Actually it may not have hurt the motor because we hit some stumps in the lake and it didn't seem to bother the motor at all.
I wish I had taken a picture of some of the huge, elaborately constructed duck blinds on the lake, but I didn't want to take my camera out in the boat. It's too precious to me.
So, this is the end of the pictorial story of our 2008 fishing trip to Reelfoot Lake. Sure wish I had a string of crappie to show off, but luck was not with us on this trip.
